The rooms and public space were modern and sparkling clean. The staff were really friendly, efficient and helpful. The breakfast (which you could have in your room or in the dining area) was very good and inclusive in the price. The breakfast area was on the sixth floor and had panoramic sea views. The room had a great view of the marina, fort and the sea. There was aircon in the room, very good double glazing so was quiet at night even though there was a quite busy road between the hotel and the beach. The bathroom was nicely kitted out with a bath and easy to work shower overhead. Constant hot water. Clean towels etc. The lift was quick and efficient. There was good attention to covid safety and that made us feel safe to stay there.

We loved the breakfast room and there was a good selection of food, from cold meats, cheeses and pastries to fruit, bacon and eggs. There was also a good selection of teas and coffees. I also really liked the view of the harbour mouth where we could watch ships being guided in and out of the harbour by the pilot boat!
